At 16:33 on Monday, 29 April, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shifnal .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. A Hazmat officer was in attendance.

Reports of one Petrol / Hybrid vehicle alight. After investigations from crews it was established this was a blown gasket. Nothing in use.
