At 01:08 on Wednesday, 1 May, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Dry powder extinguisher
• Hosereel jet
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving welfare unit. Crews wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet, one dry powder extinguisher and small gear to deal with the fire. Thermal imaging camera used to check for hotspots.
