At 19:38 on Saturday, 23 July, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Highley.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Cleobury Mortimer.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Covering jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Fire involving approximately 10 tonnes of hay in field. Drag rakes, pitch forks and 1 covering jet in use.
