At 13:44 on Wednesday, 31 August, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Cressage.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Much Wenlock.

Crews were called to reports of cows in the river but the animals are believed to have walked to safety as nothing could be found.
