At 01:08 on Friday, 30 September, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Smithers RAPRA, Shawbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Report of smell of burning in building which was found to be coming from overheating machinery, no fire.
