At 01:30 on Saturday, 22 October, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as SSC Non Urgent in Ellesmere.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry.

Small quantity of water entering a canal boat from the front of the vessel. Stirrup pump and lifejackets in use.
