At 10:26 on Saturday, 18 February, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was a false alarm caused by a controlled bonfire - advice given

Build bonfires well clear of buildings and never use flammable liquids to start the fire. Before you light the bonfire, check that children and animals are not hiding inside and are a safe distance away. Don't leave bonfires unattended. Don't light bonfires in unsuitable weather conditions.
