At 17:39 on Saturday, 18 February, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Oswetry .

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Oswestry and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Air Ambulance, the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Road traffic collision involving two vehicles, one female extricated from vehicle, taken to hospital by air ambulance, one male extricated and to hospital by land ambulance, fire service personnel made vehicles electrically safe
