At 20:23 on Friday, 23 June, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Newport.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Newport, Telford and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Triple/Short extension ladder

Thorough investigation of property carried out, including loft space.
