At 23:44 on Wednesday, 16 August, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue in Lodlow.

4 fire appliances including the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Clun, Craven Arms, Ludlow and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This was a false alarm. Services of brigade not required.
