At 00:52 on Thursday, 17 August, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Flood Affecting Electrics in Wem.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wem.

Flooding affecting electrics, including hard wired smoke alarms. Incident caused by leaking roof. Smoke alarm isolated and temporary, battery operated ones installed. Advice give to occupier.
