At 06:30 on Wednesday, 20 September, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Oswestry.

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Oswestry and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

RTC involving 1 commercial vehicle overturned in ditch, 1 large trailer detached from vehicle and overturned on carriageway, trailer contains approx 4 cows, no persons trapped.
