Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service Guide to culture and diversity in Shropshire

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service ensures that we follow all legislation; the Employment Equality (Religion or Belief) Regulations 2003 came into force on the 2 December 2003.

This legislation covers:

Employment and vocational training
Bans direct and indirect discrimination
Bans harassment and victimisation

In order to make sure that we are abiding by this legislation we carry out Equality Impact Assessments, religion or belief is one of the criteria that we consider during this process, which make sure that no person is receiving any less favourable treatment or discriminated against because of their religion or belief.
