The training comprises a residential course (Monday to Friday) where you will meet and work with other trainees from other Brigades.

The course is designed to develop individual skills, teamwork and to equip you with a sound understanding of the technical and practical aspects of a Firefighters role.

By the end of the course you will be part of a team, positive in outlook with pride in yourself and in what you have achieved. You will also have been assigned to the Watch and Station where you will work.
