Individual Performance and Development Reviews
We operate a system of Individual Performance and Development Reviews (IPDRs) for employees that enables them to review their personal performance and development over the past year and to agree objectives with their manager. These objectives feed directly into the agreed team/departmental objectives for the coming year.
The reviews provide the opportunity for an individual and their line manager to take time to discuss an individual's strengths, identify and plan development and to consider a development plan for further advancement of the individual.
In addition, operational staff each have an Individual Development Record (IDR) where they are able to record their operational and training activities and highlight areas for further development.
