Member, management and administrative support is provided by the Corporate Services Team, which is led by the Corporate Services Manager.
The Team provides a professional support service to Members of the Fire Authority and Principal Officers, ensuring that all statutory requirements are met and that business is conducted in accordance with the Fire Authority’s constitution.
The Team also offers high-quality clerical, administrative and secretarial support to Policy Group and other members of the Service, including provision of the reception service. In addition, the Corporate Services Manager also has responsibility for managing insurance and litigation matters.

The Corporate Services is managed by Chief Fire Officer Alan Taylor, who leads a trained and experienced team comprising Sharon Lloyd, Kamila Jones, Lynn Ince, Jayne Turner, Helen Peach and Judith Norman.
