A Retention Schedule is a guide to the length of time documents and other information are retained before being disposed of. The timescales for retention are based upon management and operational requirements within the framework of legal and regulatory constraints.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service are in the process of adopting an updated retention schedule. This schedule is available for public viewing at Fire Service Headquarters in Shrewsbury.
