Complaint about a member

For complaining that a Shropshire and Wrekin Fire and Rescue Authority Member has breached their code of conduct.

In your complaint you should identify why you think the Member has breached the Fire Authority’s Code of Conduct. You must include all the information that you wish to have
taken into account, for example:

  • You should be specific about exactly what you are alleging the Member said or did. For instance, instead of writing that the Member insulted you, you should state what the Member said.
  • Where you can, you should provide the dates of the alleged incident/s.
  • You should confirm, if there were any witnesses to the alleged conduct and provide their names and contact details, if possible.
  • You should provide any relevant background information.

Unless you have a good reason, which you explain in your complaint, your name and details of your complaint will be available to the Member/s that you are complaining
about and will be publicly available and used for the purposes of an investigation, if it goes that far.
