The annual Performance Plan which is informed by the IRMP action plan and the Medium Term Financial Plan (MTFP) is both a forward looking plan and a backward looking report.
The Performance Plan outlines the Authority’s strategic aims and objectives setting out improvement priorities and performance targets for the coming financial year. The Performance Plan also details the previous year’s performance and key achievements to date.
The Performance Plan is underpinned by 5 Directorate Business Plans detailed below:
- Community Safety;
- Performance Improvement;
- Resources;
- Human Resources, Training and Development
Each Directorate Business Plan details how it supports the overarching strategic aims and objectives through direction of travel statements, improvement priorities and business as usual activities. The Directorate Business Plans are used by Directorate heads to monitor and track performance of their respective teams, functions and departments.
