The water rescue unit consists of a rigid inflatable boat with outboard motor, mounted on a trailer and towed to incidents by a four wheel drive vehicle. Used to rescue people and animals from water in the county. Normally crewed by three firefighters who are fully trained Water Rescue operatives.
