If you live in, or are visiting, Shropshire and require help in an emergency, the telephone numbers on this page should be of help.

*Dial 999 and ask for the Police if:
there is a danger to life or risk of injury
a crime is in progress and the offender is still at the scene or has only just left
immediate police attendance is necessary such as when a crime is obviously about to be committed

Social Care Emergency Duty Team ^ Top  

Shropshire County Council's Social Care Emergency Duty Team provide help in a crisis to vulnerable adults, children in need and their families when local daytime offices have closed. This includes during the night, on weekends and public holidays.

Emergency Plannning ^ Top  

Shropshire County Council's Emergency Planning Unit may be able to offer advice about dealing with a major emergency.

The team can be contacted during normal office hours on 01743 252 843
