Access keys
Access keys can be used by non Internet Explorer browsers throughout our site and are intended to help users who have difficulty in using pointing devices such as a mouse, or who prefer to use keyboard shortcuts.
We are currently unable to support this functionality for Microsoft Internet Explorer browsers.
There are no agreed standards for the use of access keys, but we have followed the UK Government guidelines as much as possible.
Access keys can be accessed by using the following methods, which are different depending on the platform you are using:

| Internet Explorer | Not supported |
| Firefox, Mozilla (PC) | Hold down the ALT key and SHIFT key and press the number of the access key |
| Firefox, Mozilla (Mac) | Hold down the CTRL key and press the number of the access key |
| Safari and Omniweb (Mac) | Hold down the CTRL key and press the number of the access key |
| Opera | Hold down the Shift key and press Escape, release both keys, then press the number of the access key |
