The Pinzgauer consists of a pump and some of the equipment normally found on a fire engine, but on a chassis that enables it to go off road. The vehaicle has a tank that holds 900 litres of water, and is capable of pumping 560lpm. Normally crewed by two firefighters.

• Ability to wade through 1m of water
• Fogging Pump. A very high pressure pump used for hedge and grass fires
