Fire Safety in Childcare Premises

Fire safety in Childcare premises is regulated by the Office for Standards in Education, Early years (OFSTED) www.ofsted.gov.uk under the Children Act 1989.

The Fire & Rescue Service advise OFSTED on fire safety matters in Children's homes.

The Workplace Fire Precautions Legislation, administered by the fire and rescue service would also apply to premises in which staff are employed
