Fire Safety in Children's Homes

Fire safety in Children's homes is regulated by the Commission for Social Care Inspection, www.csci.org.uk under the Children's Homes Regulations 2001. The Fire & Rescue Service assist the commission with the fire safety aspects of their regulatory role

In addition to the Children's Homes Regulations, the Workplace Fire Precautions Legislation, administered by the fire and rescue service applies to Homes in which staff are employed
