At 20:25 on Monday, 5 December, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire in Chirk.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved a large goods vehicle which was extinguished by fire service personnel. One appliance from North Wales Fire Service was also in attendance.
