This was a false alarm caused by steam from burst central heating pipe in airing cupboard. Crews used a thermal imaging camera to check the premise.

Chimney Fire

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Hodnet. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- 9/10.5m ladder
- Hosereel jet
- Roof ladder
- Small gear
- Stirrup pump
- Thermal imaging camera
Crews used chimney rods and stirrup pump initially before using ladders and a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. An ops officer was in attendance to monitor crew safety on the roof. A thermal imaging camera was used to identify and monitor hot spots within the chimney.
