Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service is soaring to new heights with digital innovations.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service is appealing to the public following a break in at Hodet Fire Station.

On Saturday 30th March, at around 11.20pm, a group of people broke into the fire station and stole cutting equipment before they were disturbed by a passer by. This comes just weeks after another break in at Newport Fire Station.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service are reminding the public to extra care with cigarettes following a serious fire in Oswestry.

Crews were called to Queen Elixabeth Close at around 5.20pm on Tuesday 30th January to reports of smoke coming from a property. Firefighters from Oswestry attended and quickly entered the building wearing breathing apparatus and rescued a woman from the fire.

Look and Refer training is free fire safety in the home awareness training available to everyone, but with a focus on those who visit/support/care for people in the community e.g carers, volunteer groups, partner agency professionals.
