At 20:42 on Sunday, 22 February, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Explosion Reported in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Reports of explosion in property. Crews investigated a 2 storey building - 4 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet in use. Thermal imaging camera and visual inspection carried out by fire service personnel - no sign of explosion.

Involving 1 car having come to rest on its side in roadside ditch. No persons trapped. Crew making vehicle safe.
