At 05:07 on Saturday, 5 February, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Much Wenlock.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Much Wenlock. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

  • Breathing Apparatus (BA)
  • Covering jet
  • Hosereel jet
  • Positive Pressure Ventilation

This incident relates to a fire in the ground floor of a domestic property which was extinguished using hosereel and covering jets. The occupants had evacuated the property prior to the arrival of fire service personnel.
