At 23:41 on Tuesday, 1 March, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Rtc Persons Trapped in Chirk.

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Oswestry and Wellington.

This incident involved 1 vehicle that had left the road down a embankment. No persons trapped, vehicle made electrically safe. Assisted by North wales fire service
