At 21:14 on Monday, 7 March, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Church Stretton.

2 fire appliances including the Pinzgauer were mobilised from Church Stretton.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Knapsacks
• Shovels/Forks/Brooms

This incident involved multiple pockets of fire of gorse bushes. Crews extinguished using knapsacks and spades to extinguish.
