At 22:19 on Saturday, 12 March, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Albrighton, Telford and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency and the Police.

Reports of a car fire on the hard shoulder. This incident was a false alarm caused by a tyre blowout.
