At 09:26 on Sunday, 13 March, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Telford.

4 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform and the Incident Command Unit were mobilised from Shrewsbury, Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

This incident was false alarm, vehicle burning off oil causing excessive steam and smoke . Thermal image camera used to check temperatures
