At 14:02 on Sunday, 3 April, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Nescliffe, Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance including the Pinzgauer was mobilised from Baschurch.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident was a controlled burn. Fire extinguished by fire crew to prevent further calls and advice given to responsible person
