At 20:51 on Saturday, 9 April, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

This was a false alarm good intent. Fire was a controlled burn which was being supervised therefore no fire service action required.
