At 20:19 on Friday, 29 April, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smell Of Smoke in Wem.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Smell of smoke inside property, this was a small fire in the tumble dryer which was out on arrival. Crews used a thermal imaging camera and small gear.
