At 20:08 on Sunday, 1 May, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Reports of fire in the open which proved to be a controlled burn which was under control. Fire crews gave advice to occupier.
