At 19:28 on Monday, 9 May, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Reports of 1 vehicle smoking on the forecourt. Crews extinguished using 1 hose reel jet and made the vehicle safe.
