At 21:26 on Tuesday, 17 May, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Reports of smell of burning in property which proved to be a chimney fire. Crews removed contents of log burner and monitored temperature using thermal image camera.
