At 20:18 on Thursday, 19 May, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Kitchen Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident involved a deep fat fryer in the kitchen. A fire blanket and wetting agent from premises was used to extinguish the fire.
