At 12:54 on Tuesday, 24 May, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Animal Rescue in Bridgnorth.

3 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit and the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: a vet.

Crews have assisted vet with fallen horse. The horse has been successfully rescued.
