At 05:17 on Saturday, 16 July, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Whitchurch.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Whitchurch.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Cutters/Spreaders
• Hosereel jet
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved one van. Fire service personnel used 2 hosereel jets, one misting lance and the thermal imaging camera. Holmatro and small gear were also used to gain access to the vehicle.
