At 08:48 on Saturday, 16 July, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Oswestry.

1 fire appliance including the Incident Support Unit was mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Grass and undergrowth fire, two hose reel jets and one thermal imaging camera used to extinguish.
