At 15:06 on Sunday, 17 July, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in West Felton .

2 fire appliances including the Pinzgauer and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Baschurch, Ellesmere and Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Fire involving approximately 30 tonnes of silage and 40m hedgerow. Four hosereel jets used to extinguish fire
