At 19:53 on Wednesday, 20 July, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Newport and Wellington.

Fire involving approximately 80 square metres of long grass and undergrowth. Fire crews used 1 extended hose reel jet, fogging jet from incident support unit, backpack and beaters
