At 14:30 on Thursday, 11 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Short extension ladder

One road sweeper heavy goods vehicle 20% involved in fire. Crews extinguished using 2 hose reel jets, 2 breathing apparatus and 1 foam main jet.
