At 15:37 on Monday, 17 July, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Aircraft Light in Claverley.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

1 light aircraft had crash landed into field. Passenger was out on arrival, fire service personnel have made the aircraft mechanically and electrically safe.
