At 08:11 on Saturday, 9 September, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury. A Fire Investigation officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

1 car on fire in corner of car park. Extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reel jets. Police informed of incident.
