At 08:18 on Tuesday, 19 September, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as HGV Fire.
3 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Hosereel jet
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency and the Police.
One large vehicle alight on westbound carriageway. Fire service personnel have extinguished.
